when i was 14 years old, i got a chance to join students exchange program, Indonesia and Philippines. here is the story
i was in 2nd grade alazhar islamic junior high school at that time. I heard there was an opportunity for us to join that program. So i decided to have the selection of it. the selection was not really difficult. the teacher just asked me several questions about my daily life and the goal after we join this program. i had no expectation to pass that selection. i just challanged my self, if i pass then thank god, but if not i dont feel sorry.
i was studying when my name sounded on speaker that i pass that selection. i was so happy and excited. i called my mom immediately and told her to go to imigration office, cause i didnt have my own paspor yet. HAHAHAHA
from junior highschool there were 6 students and from senior highschool there were 7 studntes ( forgot ).
the delegations from philippines ( jose abad santos memorial school ) came first to Jakarta on september 2006. my partner's name is sara tezon matsuura, half filipino and japanesse. she 's got long black hair and kinda chubby. she stayed at my house for 8 days. and the delegations studied in alazhar too, they learned the way we study, learned about our culture here, and their first impression when the saw my previous school ( alazhar, now i'm in 6 shs ), they surprised, they said the school is very very big and comfortable, it has elevators to reach each floors of the building. when they were here, we visited some museums, philippines embassy, ancol baycity, dufan, and manymore. we really enjoyed and having fun together. i remebered my friend's names from philippine: david, jessica, marikit, and manymoreeee. hehehe
2 months later, it's time for us to fly to philippines. we took philippines airlines and transitted first in singapore. it took 6 hours to get there. oh my god, i missed them so much at that time ( and stiil, i hope ican meet them again, someday ). i hugged my partner so tight and met the others, and i have some new friends from there. anyway, i had a crush too HAHAH LOL! The school is not as big as alazhar, but it was cool.
when i was there, i visited some public places and of course i bought some souvenirs from there. hehehe, oh my god, they were so friendly to me, and just so you know, there was someone who fell in love with me? OH MY, can you believe it? i was so young, and a 17th years old boy fell in love with a girl like me? oh god. hahaha
have you ever try balut egg? it is an embrio duck. actually it is an egg but inside, it is hairy and if we get lucky ( what? ) you'll see part of eyes, mouth , or even nose. OH NOOO.. i ate that thing, but i couldnt finish it, so i gave it to my friend, and he ate it all. the taste same like a real egg, buat can you imagine you eat an embrio's egg??? Actually it is cruel. hahahaha
saying good bye is the hardest part, i stayed in sara's house for 8 days too, and i spent my time most of all in JASMS, to have learn their way to study, and bla bla bla. i cried when i wave my hands to my new friends in JASMS and said " BYE, i hope someday we can meet "
and till now, sometimes, i chat with them via yahoo messenger, and want to that good times come again. hahaha. and you know what when i was in philippine, i took a picture with christian bautista. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. LOL! dont laugh readers! hehehehe
sorry if my english kinda mess up, and i'm so sorry, i dont mean to show up, but i just wanna my friends in philippines understand when they read this. hehehe. why i wrote this? because, i miss them so much, hehehe. I LOVE YOU filipinos hehehe.
